About Us

Heatsafe Heating Ltd was established in 2011 by Directors Dougie and Graeme. After training together as apprentices and then both going on to gain valuable training and experience working for one of the largest heating companies in the UK. Both Dougie and Graeme decided to start up their own heating company Heatsafe Heating Ltd which covers Scotlands central belt.

Our dream is to bring unrivalled customer service and value for money to all of our customers.

We aren’t like your average heating company, we do things the Heatsafe way. This has help us build our business over the years through our high standard of work referrals and word of mouth.

Dougie has more than 20 years experience in the heating and plumbing trade, his passion and experience really shines through. Having completed his pipe fitting apprenticeship SVQ Level 3 city and guilds straight from school. Dougie then gained experience working as a foreman in London. In 2004 after working away from home for years, Dougie decided to start an apprenticeship with at Scottish Gas, gaining his NICEIC ACS gas qualification. From there he worked as a service and repair engineer with Scottish Gas covering Falkirk until 2011 before he started up Heatsafe Heating Ltd.

Graeme left school straight into an apprenticeship as a Thermal Insulation engineer. After qualifying with a SVQ level 3 city and guilds Graeme decided to go back to college where he completed a HND in electrical engineering. In 2004 he started his apprenticeship with Scottish Gas where he gained his NICEIC ACS gas qualification. A year later Graeme won Scottish Gas’s newly qualified engineer of the year award beating off stiff competition from all over Scotland. Graeme worked as a service and repair engineer covering Glasgow until 2011 before he started up Heatsafe Heating Ltd.

Marc started with Heatsafe Heating Ltd in 2018 after beating over 200 applicants to gain a (Gas Engineer) apprenticeship with Heatsafe. Marc is currently on block release at Glasgow Kelvin College where he is hoping to gain his SVQ Level 3 Plumbing & NICEIC ACS gas qualification. Marc is very keen to learn, enthusiastic and polite. In time we are sure he will become a very competent engineer.

Harry started with Heatsafe Heating Ltd in 2021 after a difficult year due to the pandemic. Harry will be attending Falkirk Forth Valley College to gain his SVQ Level 3 Plumbing & NICEIC ACS Gas qualification. Harry has got off to a great start already picking up knowledge and understanding of the job. Also showing great people skills and respect when dealing with all of our customers. In time we are confident he will become a very competent engineer.
